May 21, 2023: Ultimate Base Roster V85 Released!

V85 of the Ultimate Base Roster is available for download!  The update includes updated transactions for the 2023 Roster (NBA Teams and G-League Teams) as of May 21, 2023.  This update includes a bunch of current cyberface updates too.  From a retro standpoint, we've added tons of enhancements to the 1950's rosters (including brand new 1949, 1950, 1951, 1953, and 1954) thanks to old friend Reddwarf.  It also includes major updates made to all league histories depending on which yearly roster you load.  ABA champions have been added as selectable teams from 1968-1976 and improvements were also made to the ABA Rosters.  Player awards and hall of fames are accurately portrayed in every retro roster based on the season you are opting to use in association.  To see everything that is included in this awesome update please visit the download page HERE.

February 19, 2023: Ultimate Base Roster V84 Released!

I'm very happy to announce the release of V84 of the Ultimate Base Roster.  The update includes updated transactions for the 2023 Roster (NBA Teams and G-League Teams) as of February 19th (post trade-deadline).  Other current updates include the 2023 All-Star jerseys, court, and correct rising stars teams and 3-point team added as selectable options.  From a retro standpoint, we've added V1 of the 1954 Roster thanks to Reddwarf.  It also includes major updates made to all league histories depending on which yearly roster you load.  Player awards and hall of fames are accurately portrayed based on the season you are opting to use in association.  New retro player call names have also been added.  To see everything that is included in this huge update please visit the download page HERE.

January 22, 2023: Ultimate Base Roster V83 Released!

I'm very happy to announce the release of V83 of the Ultimate Base Roster.  The update includes updated transactions for the 2023 Roster (NBA Teams and G-League Teams) as of mid-January.  It includes major upgrades to the G-League Rosters for better accuracy. January 1, 2023: Happy New Year Ultimate Base Roster V82 Released!

V82 of the Ultimate Base Roster has been released!  Included is an updated version of the 2023 Roster with all free agent signings, rookies, and accurate depth charts as of January 1, 2023.  In addition to the updates to the current roster, V82 is highlighted by TONS of retro updates.  Full coaching staffs (assistants, trainer, and general manager) were added to the 1947-1979 Rosters.  Team commentary audio IDs for 14 teams have been added!  Now, whenever you play with any of the following teams they will be referred to by both their city name and mascot name throughout gameplay: Vancouver Grizzlies, Baltimore Bullets, Buffalo Braves, Cincinnati Royals, Fort Wayne Pistons, Kansas City Kings, Minneapolis Lakers, Philadelphia Warriors, Rochester Royals, San Diego Clippers, San Francisco Warriors, St. Louis Hawks, Syracuse Nationals, Vancouver Grizzlies, Washington Bullets.  Improved retro stadiums (courtesy Bird33) and cyberfaces (courtesy Retro2K) were added too!  Lastly, a brand new UBR Ult Rookies V1 roster was added, which allows you to play as any Draft Class Team from 1975-2005!  A lot of exciting stuff, so please make sure you are following and keeping up! December 11, 2022: Ultimate Base Roster V81 Released!

V81 of the Ultimate Base Roster has been released!  Included is an updated version of the 2023 Roster with all free agent signings, rookies, and accurate depth charts as of December 11, 2022.  Improved versions of the 2023 Roster base courts and home/away jerseys were added thanks to JSTN2K & Francis2K.  Updated versions of the 2023 Stadiums & Dornas were also implemented courtesy of Zk30's excellent work!  I was also able to go through and add some missing city/specialty courts that were not previously included in the 2018-2023 Rosters.  Some exciting audio updates are on the horizon and we kick off these string of updates by including audio for the Vancouver Grizzlies throughout applicable rosters in the mod!  A lot of exciting stuff, so please make sure you are following and keeping up! November 19, 2022: Ultimate Base Roster V80 Released!

V80 of the Ultimate Base Roster has been released!  Included is an updated version of the 2023 Roster with all free agent signings, rookies, and accurate depth charts as of November 19, 2022. Accurate 2023 City jerseys, Statement jerseys, and City courts were also added thanks to Makoy.  Retro updates GALORE in V80!  If you a retro fan, particularly of the 1980's this update is going to be for you.  The shoe vault system had a massive upgrade (almost 100 new 1980's/1990's shoes were added).  Truefaith did an amazing job with the shoe creation aspect and I was able to hex edit everything into the in-game vault.  All shoes have accurate names and have been accurately categorized by decade.  Every player in the 1985 Roster was assigned accurate shoes!.  Additionally, shoe assignments were rolled over to the 1980-1984 Rosters as well as the 1986-1989 rosters for better accuracy (when it made sense).  A lot of exciting stuff, so please make sure you are following and keeping up! October 23, 2022: Ultimate Base Roster V79 Released!

V79 of the Ultimate Base Roster has been released!  Included is an updated version of the 2023 Roster with all free agent signings, rookies, and accurate depth charts as of a couple of days after Opening Night 10/23/22.  The accurate 2023 schedule was also added to the 2023 Roster.  V79 mainly features a lot of current 2023 roster updates with a few retro upgrades sprinkled in.  Keep a look out for V80 in the future, as there are plans to include ~75 new shoes throughout the 1980's rosters.  The 1985 Roster, specifically, will get a significant upgrade with every player wearing accurate shoes from that season!  A lot of exciting stuff, so please make sure you are following and keeping up! September 26, 2022: Ultimate Base Roster V78 Released!

V78 of the Ultimate Base Roster has been released!  Included is an updated version of the 2023 Roster with all free agent signings, rookies, and accurate depth charts as of 9/26/22.  The accurate 2023 schedule was also added to the 2023 Roster.  V78 also features 150+ retro cyberface variations that have been applied throughout the retro rosters.  Additionally, I've added ~15 new mid-late 90's dornas and assigned them to applicable teams.  Plus many, many more retro improvements and tweaks to make the rosters as accurate as possible!   Make sure to download and view the full preview breakdown by going HERE.

September 5, 2022: Ultimate Base Roster V77 Released!

V77 of the Ultimate Base Roster has been released!  Included is an updated version of the 2023 Roster with all free agent signings, rookies, and accurate depth charts as of 9/5/22 - including the most recent Donovan Mitchell trade.  Makoy has also graced us with some awesome 2023 Roster updated courts that include the Bill Russell tributes.  As was the case in V76, V77 includes a ton of retro updates as well.  The update is headlined by having 40 new retro dornas, 20 new shoes, stadium tweaks, and all players in the 1994 Roster are decked out in their accurate shoes thanks to TrueFaith.  Make sure to download and view the full preview breakdown by going HERE.

August 21, 2022: Ultimate Base Roster V76 Released & Includes 2023 Roster!

V76 of the Ultimate Base Roster has been released and it may very well go down as the biggest single update to the mod in its history.  If you haven't downloaded a version of the UBR lately this certainly is the one you'll want to make sure to get!  Not only does it include an updated version of the 2023 Roster with all free agent signings, rookies, and accurate depth charts as of 8/21/22 but this version got a massive overhaul in terms of retro updates!  The retro updates are highlighted by a brand new two-vault shoe system which includes a combined 330+ shoes.  Every shoe in the in-game vault has been categorized by decade and includes real shoe names.  Additionally, 200+ unique retro dornas spanning from the 1980's to 2022 have been added to applicable rosters.  Thanks to some hex editing tricks we can now add as many unique dornas as we want without causing hanging or crashes at the starting lineups screen.  I also had a TON of help from patrons going through and checking every single player in every single roster from 1947-1999 so far to check for player skin tone issues.  Make sure to check out the video below for a full breakdown of all the changes (there are timestamps if you navigate to YouTube to watch it.  Download the newest V76 of the Ultimate Base Roster HERE.

July 24, 2022: Ultimate Base Roster V75 & 2023 Roster Released!

V75 of the Ultimate Base Roster has been released and it's a HUGE one with loads of retro roster improvements as well as keeping up with the current 2023 Roster moves in free agency!  This update is highlighted by an updated version of the 2023 Roster with all accurate transactions and signings as of midnight on 7/24/22.  It also includes approximately 100 specific-year version retro cyberfaces appropriately assigned throughout the yearly rosters, specialty rosters, and draft classes.  Major improvements were also made to tendencies, player roles, team chemistry, primary/secondary positions, and skin tone issues.  Full and complete head coach, assistant coach, trainer, and GMs have been incorporated into coaching staffs check out a COMPLETE list of what is included in V75 HERE.  Download the newest V75 of the Ultimate Base Roster HERE. 

June 23, 2022: Ultimate Base Roster V74 & 2023 Roster Released (Post-Draft)!

2023 Roster/V74/NBA Draft Live Stream - June 23rd

I'm going to try something different next week when the NBA Draft takes place on Thursday, June 23rd at 7:30ET/6:30CT. I plan on doing a Live Stream where I will update the 2023 Roster in real time as teams make their picks. By doing this, I should be able to release V74 of the Ultimate Base Roster, which will include all the recently drafted players, to patrons immediately following the NBA Draft! During the stream I will have on some type of Draft Coverage so you can listen along as I make the updates to the roster. Please consider stopping by! June 5, 2022: Ultimate Base Roster V73 Released! 

V73 of the Ultimate Base Roster has been released which includes all accurate transactions, depth charts, and minute rotations as of the end of the season.  This new update also adds an update to the 2022 Draft Class file and adds accurate shoe updates for every player in the 1995 Roster.  Special thanks to True Faith for the shoe improvements and updated Shoe Vault!  Download HERE.

April 2, 2022: Ultimate Base Roster V72 Released! 

V72 of the Ultimate Base Roster has been released which includes all accurate rosters as of 4/2/22.  This new update also adds an update to the shoe vault, depth chart adjustments for the 2022 Roster, and accurate shoe updates for every player in the 1996 Roster.  I've also applied these shoe assignments in the 1995 Roster.  Special thanks to True Faith for the shoe improvements!  Download HERE.

March 26, 2022: College Ultimate Base Roster V2.2 Released! 

ReeTwoKay and I have released version 2.2 of the College Ultimate Base Roster (CUBR) which includes full 1984, 1990, 1995, and 2006 Rosters with a CUBR Classic Teams Roster file featuring 76 Classic NCAA Teams spanning 1966-2008! March 1, 2022: V71 of the Ultimate Base Roster Released! 

I've upgraded the mod to V71 which includes all accurate rosters as of 3/1/22.  This new update also adds the 2020 USA Olympic Team to the Ultimate Base Roster as well as the All-Star/USA Mod.  It also includes an update to all of the shoes in the 90's rosters.  Specifically, this update includes accurate shoe updates for every player in the 1996 Roster through the Mavericks thanks to True Faith.  Download HERE.

February 12, 2022: V70.3 of the Ultimate Base Roster Released! 

I've upgraded the mod to V70.3 which includes all accurate rosters as of 2/12/22.  This means every single trade from the deadline is included.  Also includes accurate 2022 3-Point contestant team and updated Team Lebron and Team Durant rosters after they did their draft selections.  I've also made player ratings adjustments to better reflect how players have performed to this point.  Download HERE.

February 5, 2022: V70 of the Ultimate Base Roster Released! 

V70 of the Ultimate Base Roster has been released. The update includes an updated version of the 2022 Roster which has all transactions and moves as of February 5, 2022 for all NBA teams and G-League teams.  An updated version of the 2022 Draft Class is included based on reliable mock draft sites!  2022 All-Star teams, including all four Rising Stars teams, were updated and the real 2022 All-Star jerseys and courts were added.  This update also includes updated 2021-2022 courts and stadiums for all of the G-League teams courtesy 2K14 GL. December 25, 2021: V68 of the Ultimate Base Roster Released! 

V68 of the Ultimate Base Roster has been released. The update includes an updated version of the 2022 Roster which has all transactions and moves as of December 25, 2021. It also includes newly added accurate salaries and contract lengths for all players in every roster from 1985-1999 (and present day 2022 roster as well).  I'd like to continue this salary project for all the retro rosters in the future.  Many retro cyberface additions were sprinkled in as well.  For more information and to download click HERE.

December 20, 2021: MyCareer Mode Fix for 1997 Roster Released!

After many, many, many hours of work and testing I'm very happy to be releasing the "1997 MyCareer" roster file which is fully compatible with MyPlayer/MyCareer mode. It has been tested multiple times with the ability to go beyond the first season of MyCareer mode (no crashes). I've also added special files to begin your career as Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Ray Allen, or Steve Nash. I was able to rig things so that you get drafted at the exact right spot by their original team every time.  To learn more click HERE.

October 24, 2021: Implementation of G-League Teams

There are three projects I'm concurrently working on.  I'm making the 1997 Roster compatible with MyCareer Mode and creating MyCareer files to be able to start as Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Ray Allen, or Steve Nash.  I'm also adding real contracts (and proportionately divided contracts) to the 2022 Roster.  Lastly, the patrons have spoken and are most excited about me implementing the G-League teams to the 2022 Roster.  I put a majority of energy into that over this past weekend.  Check out the progress in the YouTube video below!

September 11, 2021: MyCareer Mode Breakthroughs!

Pesky "MyCareer" mode has always been the Achilles heel of modded content in the NBA2K14 community, however I've managed some breakthroughs allowing the mode to work with the 2022 Roster AND retro rosters.  Most notably, I experimented, with success, making the 1985 Roster compatible for MyCareer Mode.  Checkout the videos below.
